GLASS announces its second collaboration with Mexico City, to strengthen the city’s public procurement processes through a technological tool that allows the Discussion of Pre-Bidding Documents.
This new collaboration aims to co-create and enable a module entitled “Discussion of Pre-Bidding Documents”, which seeks to facilitate the participation of citizens, local vendors, and civil society groups in the process of developing public tenders, allowing these actors to provide direct feedback to the city's Purchasing Units, thus strengthening the technical, administrative and financial elements of their public procurement processes.
The development of this innovative module will contribute to the significant opening of Mexico City’s public purchases and contracts, stimulating its economic reactivation and advancing the digital transformation efforts of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation (ADIP) and Tianguis Digital.
The agile implementation of the new government tool will be in charge of GLASS, a technology company based in Silicon Valley pioneering the creation of intelligent public procurement ecosystems for governments. GLASS tools accelerate the adoption of best practices, transparency, and socio-economic public policies, maximizing the impact of public investments made by national and local governments.
