📍 Second stop: TechCrunch Disrupt 2023

TechCrunch Disrupt, the “original startup conference” selected us to participate in its prestigious Startup Battlefield 200. This competition serves as a global stage, spotlighting the most disruptive 200 startups from multiple industries worldwide.

For Glass, along with the other 199 startups, it was an opportunity to showcase our venture to the world. We were present on the exhibition floor and engaged with a staggering 10,000 attendees. We also competed on center stage, pitching for a shot at the $100,000 prize and the prestigious Disrupt Cup. We gained exclusive access to networking opportunities that connected VCs with founders, including parties, roundtable discussions, and lounges.

Participating in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200 also meant joining a distinguished community of founders, boasting over 1,100 Startup Battlefield Alumni, who collectively have raised a staggering $29 billion since their Disrupt debut. We had the chance to spend the days alongside companies like AC3D, Aintech, Untap Health, Zitti, Petnow Inc, and many more.

Our CEO, Paola Santana, took the stage at the #StartupBattlefield200 to share our work and vision to connect governments with small businesses through our pioneering government marketplace, Glass Commerce. Watch the pitch video to get a glimpse of our journey at #TechCrunchDisrupt2023 and learn more about how we are revolutionizing how governments buy.

📍Third stop: L’Attitude Ventures 2023

From September 27th to 30th, the premier business event of the year took place in Miami, Florida: the L'Attitude Ventures 2023’ conference, an  opportunity to set new objectives and accomplish remarkable milestones.

L’ATTITUDE aims to emphasize that investing in U.S. Latinos equates to investing in America. They recognize that harnessing the distinctive and potent U.S. Latino opportunity will yield benefits for all Americans. This is precisely why the L'ATTITUDE 2023 conference presented an exceptional opportunity for the Latin American entrepreneurial community residing in the United States.

It was an unparalleled networking experience, allowing attendees to connect with fellow members of the Latinx community who share the same mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion. Furthermore, the event delved into the future of the New Mainstream Economy, offering comprehensive insights to fuel substantial business expansion and enhance participants' economic influence. Lastly, it served as a hub of opportunities, where deals took shape, businesses secured vital funding, and professional paths were molded.

Our Founder and CEO, Paola Santana, assumed the role of a keynote speaker during the event and participated in the panel titled "Billion Dollar Impact: Latinas Leading the Way." In her discussion, she explored the remarkable achievements and profound influence of Latinas in shattering barriers and spearheading the establishment of billion-dollar enterprises.

Our path through these events has been an unceasing source of inspiration. We've forged connections with visionaries, highlighted innovation, and disseminated insights destined to mold the future of GovTech and government procurement. We eagerly anticipate further inspiration from our peers, friends, and colleagues, collectively progressing toward our shared vision.

Stay connected for upcoming updates, as GLASS persists in its mission to change the government procurement landscape!
